The Xiaomi 15 Now Comes in Red, but There’s a Catch

0

While it’s been quite some time now since the launch of the Xiaomi 15, there’s still a lot of hype for Xiaomi’s premium-tier smartphone, and the company recently announced that it was launching a new color variant of the 15 Custom Edition – more specifically, the phone will now be available in a rather vibrant “Rouge Red” version, which does look eye-catching.

One thing to note however is that the phone is exclusive for Chinese markets in celebration of the Chinese New Year, so fans elsewhere might have a bit of difficulty getting their hands on one of these. The phone’s red rear panel contrasts with the black sides and camera island, making for an overall clean but still premium look.

In terms of specs, there’s nothing new here aside from aesthetics – it still comes with a 6.36-inch OLED screen, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip inside, up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage, a 5,400 mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging speeds, as well as a triple 50MP camera system.

The Xiaomi 15 was launched back on October of 2024, although it’s now expected that Xiaomi will launch an even more powerful flagship device during MWC Barcelona this year.
