POCO X7, X7 Pro smartphones announced

If you’re looking for a new smartphone that won’t break the bank, you’re in luck. The folks over at POCO have announced a bunch of new smartphones. This includes the POCO X7, the X7 Pro, and interestingly enough, the Iron Man Edition.

Based on the specs of the phones, these won’t exactly be flagship quality. However, POCO is known for their value-for-money handsets so they might be worth checking out if you’re on a budget.

POCO X7 Pro

  • Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra
  • Display: 6.67-inch CrystalRes 1.5K AMOLED, 120Hz fresh rate, 3200 nits peak brightness
  • Battery: 6000mAh, support for 90W HyperCharge (0-100% in 42 minutes).
  • Camera: 50MP Sony IMX882 (OIS) main shooter, 20MP front-facing camera
  • Cooling: LiquidCool Technology 4.0 with a 5000mm² cooling area.
  • Others: Gorilla Glass 7, IP68 water/dust resistance, slim design with vibrant colors.

POCO X7

  • Processor: MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra
  • Display: 6.67-inch CrystalRes 1.5K AMOLED, 120Hz fresh rate, 3,000 nits peak brightness
  • Battery: 5,110mAh, support for 45W turbo charging.
  • Camera: 50MP Sony IMX882 (OIS) main shooter with 2MP macro lens, 20MP front-facing camera
  • Others: Gorilla Glass Victus 2, slightly lower IP rating than Pro.

As for the Iron Man Edition, this is essentially the POCO X7 Pro but with an Iron Man-inspired design. It features Iron Man’s helmet and Arc Reactor with 3D relief enhanced with platinum detailing. It is also finished in the iconic Iron Man red and gold colors.

There’s no word on pricing as this will vary from market to market, so check out your local retailers if you’re interested in picking up the POCO X7, X7 Pro, or the X7 Pro Iron Man Edition phones.
