0

Back in 2023, Lenovo unveiled its first handheld gaming console, the Lenovo Legion Go. For those who have been clamoring for a second-gen model with updated hardware and features, you’re in luck. At CES 2025, Lenovo has unveiled a prototype of the Legion Go 2.

According to Lenovo, the Legion Go 2 was designed with upgrades based on feedback from fans. The company notes that the exact details of the console have yet to be finalized, but the current prototype is powered by an AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor. It also uses RDNA 3.5 graphics and will support up to 32GB of 7500MHz LPDDR5X RAM.

The console will also come with an 8.8-inch OLED PureSight touch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 144Hz refresh rate, and 500-nit brightness. It also supports Variable Refresh Rate that will dynamically adjust the frame rates for more optimal gaming.

Lastly, users can look forward to 2TB of SSD storage and a 74Whr battery. In addition to the hardware under the hood, Lenovo has made some changes to the design of the Legion Go 2 as well. This includes rounded Lenovo Legion TrueStrike controllers with a circular D-pad. This is versus the original Legion Go which has sharper corners on the controls.

Lenovo hasn’t announced when the Legion Go 2 will be released or how much it will cost, but the company expects to share more details later in the year.
