One of the things we can reliably expect at every CES are new laptops. This year is no different. At CES 2025, Lenovo has taken the wraps off a couple of new laptop models which include the Yoga Slim 9i and the Yoga Book 9i.
Yoga Slim 9i
According to Lenovo, one of the standout features of the Yoga Slim 9i is the fact that it is the world’s first laptop to feature an under-display camera. This eliminates the need for thicker bezels or a notch like what Apple has done. This has allowed Lenovo to achieve a 98% screen-to-body ratio.
The laptop comes with a 14-inch 4K 120Hz PureSight Pro OLED display. Lenovo claims the display offers high color accuracy with Delta E<1 and 100% sRGB, P3, and Adobe RGB support. It is also certified for low blue light and is protected by impact-resistant glass.
Under the hood, the Yoga Slim 9i is powered by up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor. It also features Lenovo’s AI Core with 48 TOPS NPU and comes with up to 17 hours of battery life thanks to its 75WHr battery. There are connectivity options such as Thunderbolt 4 ports.
Yoga Book 9i
Next up we have the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i. Unlike the Yoga Slim 9i, which has a more traditional laptop design, the Yoga Book 9i is a dual-screen convertible laptop that Lenovo claims is thinner and lighter than its predecessor.
It features two 14-ich OLED PureSight touch displays with 100% DCI-P3 support, 120Hz VRR, and 500nits brightness. The screens feature a hinge which is not your typical hinge. Instead it is actually a rotating soundbar with Dolby Atmos speakers.
The computer comes with an 88WHr battery with an advertised battery life of up to 17 hours. Seeing as how this is aimed more towards creatives, there is support for accessories like the Yoga Pen.
So, if these Lenovo laptops at CES 2025 caught your attention, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 9i will be priced starting at $1,849 and will be available for purchase this February. As for the Lenovo Yoga Book 9i, it is priced starting at $1,999 and will be available this May.
