ASUS recently announced that it’s refreshed its ROG XG Mobile graphics system with a new 2025 model, which the company unveiled at CES along with several other products. With that in mind, the 2025 ROG XG Mobile comes with some nifty new upgrades designed for better overall performance.
This includes integrated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPUs as well as support for Thunderbolt 5 connectivity. The 2025 ROG XG Mobile also features a redesigned vapor chamber in addition to an inverted fan outlet, with new active bridge rectifier MOSFETs that according to ASUS make it the most portable external GPU under the ROG brand.
It’s also relatively lightweight given the hardware that’s inside, and is travel-friendly with a built-in kickstand. It does bear all the signature ROG design elements, such as the RGB lighting elements as well as the ROG logo.
