Prior to its absence in Western smartphone markets, Huawei’s Nova series was one of the more reliable midrange handset lines, and its new Nova 13i keeps the status quo while playing it safe. Given its ranking in Huawei’s smartphone lineup, it doesn’t exactly go the distance but rather gives users the essentials.

In terms of specs, the Noa 13i comes with a 6.7-inch LCD display with a 1080 × 2388 pixel resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, and is powered by a Snapdragon 680 chipset inside along with 8GB of RAM and a choice of either 128 or 256GB of internal storage. Powering the phone is a 5,000 mAh battery with 40W charging, and the handset runs on Huawei’s EMUI 14.2 platform. As expected, there are no Google services within the phone’s system.
As for cameras, the Nova 13i comes with a dual-camera setup which consists of a 108MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor, with video recording maxing out at 1080p. There’s also an 8MP camera in front for selfies and video calls. It’s priced at around 300 USD (when converted).
