Samsung unveils The Frame Pro with upgraded hardware

0

Samsung makes some amazing displays, but oddly enough for devices like The Frame TV, it felt a bit lackluster. The company is trying to rectify that at CES 2025 by announcing an upgraded version of The Frame. Samsung is calling it The Frame Pro and it comes with some hardware features that you might be able to appreciate.

Perhaps one of the most notable changes to The Frame Pro over the regular model is the choice of display panel. Samsung has opted to give the Pro version Neo QLED, which is basically Samsung’s own branding term for Mini-LED display technology. This means that users can expect more vivid and brighter colors than before.

Samsung has also given the TV a new Wireless One Connect Box. This is versus the One Connect Box which is typically used across Samsung’s other TVs. Other upgrades include a boost to the refresh rate. The TV now has a 144Hz refresh rate, up to 120Hz. It’s not a huge leap but it’s something gamers might like.

Other than that, The Frame Pro pretty much has the same concept as the previous model. It’s supposed to hang in your living room looking like a picture frame when not in use. It’s still a clever idea even today, but in terms of price, Samsung hasn’t confirmed how much The Frame Pro costs.
