Earlier this year, Samsung announced their latest wearable. This came in the form of the Galaxy Ring. It wasn’t exactly the perfect launch, so if you’re not an early adopter and want to wait for its successor, you won’t have to wait too long. The latest rumors are claiming that the Galaxy Ring 2 could make its debut in January 2025.
This is according to a retailer listing shared by @MaxJmb on X. The listing is from a retailer over in Switzerland which has suggested that the Galaxy Ring 2 could launch in 2025. The retailer did not mention any specs or new features, so take it with a grain of salt. It is possible that they are simply speculating on the launch.
It is odd that Samsung could choose to launch the Galaxy Ring 2 this early. This means that there is less than a year between the original model and its successor. That being said, it does seem like it might be good timing. Samsung is rumored to launch the Galaxy S25 series in January 2025.
Launching the Galaxy Ring 2 alongside their flagship models is a good opportunity. We have heard that Samsung will make some changes to the hardware. It won’t be a massive overhaul. Instead, we’re hearing rumors that it could come with better battery life and could also be thinner than its predecessor.
