Samsung Care+ now covers free screen repairs

0

One of the more easily damaged components of our phones is its display. This is because if we drop our phone, chances are the display will be one of the first things to get damaged. This is also true when putting it into bags or pockets where they might get scratched. Thankfully, if you bought Samsung Care+, it seems that screen repairs will now be free.

This is according to an announcement by Samsung. The company revealed that this plan will go into effect starting January 2025. Prior to this announcement, Samsung Care+ customers would still need to pay for screen repairs. It would be offered at a considerable discount, starting at $29 per screen.

However, thanks to this change, Samsung has added a “Zero Dollar Screen Repairs” to its Care+ program. This means that as long as you’re subscribed to the repair plan, the screen repairs for your Galaxy smartphone are essentially free. One thing to note is that this does not cover Samsung’s foldable phones, only its regular devices.

Another thing we should point out, and this is important, is that this free screen repair falls under the Samsung Care+ with Theft and Loss plan. This is a more expensive plan, but if you think that the free screen repairs is worth the additional cost, you could consider upgrading to it.
