As the internet continues to do a post-mortem examination on Google’s ill-fated Pixel Tablet 2, it looks like more and more details have recently come to light. Following a specs sheet of the abandoned device, it seems that Google was planning on launching a stylus pen alongside the tablet.

The stylus pen is known by a handful of other terms, such as its official name “Pen for Google Pixel Tablet”, codename “bushukan” and model GM0KF. The accessory was designed to clip magnetically onto the Pixel Tablet 2, and even had a shortcut button for quick note-taking. It even supports Google’s Find My network for missing devices and accessories.
In terms of specs, the Pixel Tablet 2 was predicted to come with a modified version of the Tensor G4 chipset, the original of which is found inside the Pixel 9 series phones. The tablet would have also had a 120Hz display, a nice upgrade from the otherwise plain screen of the 2023 model. Other details include newer cameras and 5G support.
