Shipments of the Galaxy S25 are expected to increase

0

Similar to Apple’s iPhone series, Samsung’s Galaxy S series has proven itself to be a hit year over year. It is, after all, a good representation of the company’s technological efforts. So much so that come 2025, Samsung is apparently planning to increase the number of shipments for the Galaxy S25 series.

This is according to a report from Korean publication, The Elec. The report claims that Samsung plans to ship a total of 37 million units of the handset in 2025. This is an increase over the Galaxy S24, which shipped a total of 35 million units in 2024.

As to why Samsung has decided to do this, apparently this is due to the success of the Galaxy S24 lineup. Samsung had hinted at the success of the Galaxy S24 series. During their Q2 earnings, the company said that there were indications that the Galaxy S24 series could show double-digit growth and revenue compared to the previous year for the previous model.

It is believed that the inclusion of Galaxy AI helped with the phone’s popularity, especially since Samsung had initially limited Galaxy AI to its latest devices. Will the Galaxy S25 have what it takes to do better? It will come with a new chipset and presumably new cameras, but other than that we’re not sure how else Samsung will differentiate the phones from its predecessors.
