Could We See a More Affordable Lenovo Legion Handheld Soon?

0

Lenovo’s Legion Handheld is no doubt one of the best options nowadays for users after a portable solution to bring along their PC gaming library anywhere at anytime. With that said though it’s a bit on the large side, although this might change soon, according to new details uncovered online.

A set of leaked renders – which were confirmed to be genuine and from Lenovo – were shared by the folks over at Windows Central, showing the Lenovo Legion “S” model. At first glance it does look a bit smaller than the current model, although it does look a lot like the ASUS ROG Ally, a competing device. It will also come with a smaller display, which should make for a more compact user experience.

In addition to its more diminutive size, the Legion S will supposedly come with a Z2G “Rembrandt” chip with Zen3+ cores, which are slightly underpowered when compared to the Z1 Extreme found inside the current Legion model. The S model also seems to lack the touchpads found on the standard Legion handheld, although the diagrams show what could be a nub replacement for such functionality.

Not much is known about pricing and availability at the moment, but it’s expected that the device might cost somewhere around $400-$450 once it launches.
