While Honor is known for its high-end smartphones and foldables, the company’s new X9c Smart – spotted on its Malaysian website by eagle-eyed fans – comes with a rather durable build, while sporting a premium look of sorts.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra, Honor says that the X9c Smart is built to be safe from scratches, drops, and water damage. The phone’s chassis features 360-degree water protection, two-meter drop protection, as well as a finish that’s been tested to last against scratches. For software, there’s MagicOS 8.0 that runs on top of Android 14.

The X9c Smart’s 6.8-inch LCD display comes with a 1080 x 2412 pixel resolution, and there’s a dual-camera system which consists of a 108MP main camera, and a lower-resolution 5MP ultrawide sensor; in front you’ll find a 16MP selfie camera, and this entire setup runs on a 5,800 mAh battery with 35W charging.
As for pricing and availability, there’s no official word yet from Honor, so fans after a durable – and good-looking smartphone – might have to wait a bit for additional info on the X9c Smart.
