In addition to its flagship series phones and budget-friendly “Nord” devices, OnePlus has also launched several models under its “Ace” lineup, the latter of which is getting a new addition in December. More specifically, the company confirmed the launch of the Ace 5 series, which will arrive next month.

According to OnePlus, the Ace 5 series will consist of a standard Ace 5 model in addition to a Pro variant, and will initially be available for Chinese markets. Unsurprisingly, not many details are known at the moment although it’s expected that the Ace 5 will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, while the Pro model will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.

A product render showing the Ace 5’s design was also shared online, showing a look that’s pretty much in line with the rest of OnePlus’ smartphone offerings, including the off-center camera bump and mute slider.

With that said, OnePlus executive Louis Lee posted some benchmark scores online based on performance results from mobile game “King of Glory.” According to the test, the OnePlus Ace 5 managed to run at 120 fps at 3.57W power consumption, with temperatures hovering at around 40.3 C.
