At this point in time one can probably say that most Android brands do a pretty good job of providing software updates for their flagship devices, and Xiaomi is thankfully part of this movement. As such, its newly-released HyperOS 2 Android version is finally rolling out to more devices.
In particular, the Xiaomi 14 has started to receive HyperOS 2, with software version number OS2.0.4.0.VNCMIXM. It should be noted that this update is for the base model version of the Xiaomi 14, although it will be available for users with international variants of the phone. Hyper OS 2 comes with new tweaks to the user interface, new wallpapers, animations, as well as several integrated features from Android 15.

A few weeks ago, Android 15 started arriving for the Xiaomi 14, although the update still features HyperOS version 1.1. The latest update should bring the Xiaomi 14 up to speed. Launched globally back in February 2024, the Xiaomi 14 comes with a compact 6.3-inch display, a triple camera system with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 15-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
