Pixel users, rejoice – Google has finally started rolling out the latest November 2024 software update for compatible Pixel devices, and it brings some new additions in terms of fixes and security. The update will be available for several models which are running Android 15, and will continue rolling out for different regions in the coming days.
As for compatibility, the update will arrive for the Pixel 6 series, Pixel 7 series, Pixel 8 series, and the latest Pixel 9 devices. Also included are the first-generation Pixel Fold, as well as the Pixel Tablet. The update will address reported issues with Bluetooth connectivity and camera issues, to name a few. Google’s official support page lists the following:
- Fix for issue with Bluetooth range under certain conditions
- Fix for issue observing camera tilt when zooming between cameras under certain conditions
- Fix for issue causing white dots to flash under certain conditions
- Fix for issue with screen brightness flickering under certain conditions
- Fix for issue occasionally preventing Adaptive brightness from activating in certain conditions
- Fix for issue in pressing the keyboard dismiss button in certain conditions
- General improvements for performance and stability in certain UI transitions and animations
With that being said, the update will arrive for compatible devices depending on a user’s region, as well as carrier. To see if your Pixel phone can download the new update, simply head into Settings > System > Software Updates > System Update.
