Xiaomi has finally taken the wraps off its latest flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 15. While it takes after last year’s Xiaomi 14 (at least in terms of looks), it’s packing some serious hardware under the hood. In fact, it’s one of the first few smartphones to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip from Qualcomm.

As mentioned, the Xiaomi 15 looks a lot like its predecessor, with a 6.36-inch OLED screen in front. It comes with a 120Hz refresh rate for a smooth viewing experience, and up to 3,200 nits of peak brightness. The screen is protected by Xiaomi’s own Dragon Crystal glass, along with an aluminum allo frame around the sides. It’s also available in several color options, and even a “custom edition” with 20 additional colors.
In addition to the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip inside, there’s also a choice of up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage; this entire setup is powered by a 5,400 mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless charging speeds. For software, the phone features HyperOS 2.0 which comes with Xiaomi-exclusive apps and AI features.
For camera, the Xiaomi 15 packs a triple 50MP camera system with OIS, which includes 5x lossless zoom and 10cm macro photography. The device also supports 8K video recording at 30fps and Dolby Vision HDR for video capture. It starts at around $630 when converted.
