While Sony’s Xperia flagships have always stood out from the competition thanks to features like in-depth camera software, expandable storage and wired audio support, they more or less always came in your “standard” array of colors such as black and white, although Sony has finally seen fit to introduce another color to the lineup.
More specifically, the Xperia 1 VI will now be available in a “scarlet” red color, which according to Sony can look either “bright orange or dark red depending on the angle of view or environment.” Aside from the new color variant, the rest of the phone’s specifications remain the same.

This includes the 19.5:9 FHD+ resolution display, 48 MP, f/1.9, 24mm primary lens, a 12 MP, f/2.3, 85mm telephoto lens, as well as a 12 MP, f/2.2, 16mm ultra wide camera, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage, and a 5,000 mAh battery.
In terms of availability, Sony says that it will be available starting on October 14 for €1499/£1399.
