If you’re looking for a new smartphone, Honor makes some pretty great ones. In fact, the company has confirmed that they are launching a new flagship series in the form of the Honor Magic 7. The phone is expected to be announced on the 30th of October in an event held in China.

This is according to Honor’s CEO, George Zhao, who shared the news on Weibo. Details of the phone are scarce at the moment, but based on the announcement poster, it seems that it will come with a bunch of AI features as part which is also expected to be part of the Magic OS 9.0 update.

In terms of hardware, it is speculated that the Honor Magic 7 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite or Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. If it is the latter, it will join OnePlus as one of the first few phones in 2024 to take advantage of Qualcomm’s latest chipset. As for its international availability, that remains to be seen.

Chances are since the event is taking place in China, the Magic 7 series will be exclusive to the region for a period of time. Hopefully Honor will announce international availability at a later date, but we’ll have to wait and see. If you’re interested in the upcoming phones, check back with us on the 30th of October for all the details.
