Gemini Live is Now Available for all Android Users, but There’s a Catch

0

Google recently announced that it was rolling out Gemini Live to more users, and it looks like the app is now available for all Android users with compatible devices. One caveat however is that Gemini Live is only currently available in English, so folks with different language settings might have to wait a bit more until Google adds support.

For those unfamiliar, Gemini Live is a mobile conversational approach to AI that allows users to have a more flexible and conversational experience when interacting with Google’s AI model. The feature is available to use via the Android app, which Google confirmed in a post online.

The feature was originally unveiled during the Made by Google event alongside the new Pixel 9 series phones, with Gemini Advanced subscribers getting priority access. Google says that users have found conversing with Gemini to be more “engaging” compared to text-based conversations.
