The market is flooded with power banks right now. The most common one you can find are essentially just a battery that you plug into your phone or tablet to charge it. Those power banks work just fine. Don’t get us wrong, we love and use those types of power banks on a daily basis. But if you’re looking for something that gives you a bit more information and control, then you might want to check out the power banks from CUKTECH.
These power banks come in the form of the CUKTECH 10 and the CUKTECH 20. Both of these power banks vary in battery size and features, which we’ll get to in a moment. But they do share a common theme of providing users with more information on the charging process. This is something that some of you might need, want, or appreciate, so read on to find out!
CUKTECH 10 10,000mAh
Both the CUKTECH 10 and 20 share some similar features. We suppose the main difference would be its battery capacity and charging speeds. The CUKTECH 10 packs a 10,000mAh battery. It measures 143mm long and 45mm wide, making it roughly the size of a Snickers bar.
This is perfect for those who don’t need a huge external battery and want something small enough to slip into a bag or pocket without weighing them down. In terms of power, it is slightly less powerful compared to the CUKTECH 20. It has a max power output of 150W, which honestly is already pretty fast.
It comes with two ports – one USB-C and one USB-A. This should allow you to charge pretty much all your devices. According to CUKTECH, the power bank can even support charging of more power hungry devices like the 16-inch MacBook Pro, where it can output a charging speed of up to 100W.
The power bank itself also supports 90W PD. This means that if you need to give the CUKTECH 10 a recharge, it’ll only take 15 minutes to bring it up to 55%, enough to fully charge an iPhone 15.
The CUKTECH 10 also comes with a TFT color display. This is where the power bank can list helpful information. This includes information like how much battery is left. It can also show users information like how much voltage and current is being used, and how much power is being output. It even shows users which ports are in use. The battery used in the power bank are vehicle-grade and according to CUKTECH, has been tested with 1,000 cycles and its overall capacity has not dipped below 70%.
CUKTECH 20 25,000mAh
Now, if you need a larger and more powerful power bank, the CUKTECH 20 is for you. This power bank features a massive 25,000mAh battery and offers a max power output of up to 210W. The larger battery does contribute to its slightly larger design, but even then, it’s not exactly a hindrance.
According to the power banks dimensions, CUKTECH claims it is about the size of a soda can measuring 159mm long and 55.1mm wide. It is larger than the CUKTECH 10, but still small enough to fit into a bag. The larger design, in addition to housing a larger battery, is also used to accommodate an integrated heatsink.
As you know, power banks can get hot while in use, so a heatsink should help keep things cool. There are safety features built into the power bank, such as overtemperature, short-circuit, reset, and overcharge protection, just to name a few.
Similar to the CUKTECH 10, the CUKTECH 20 has a built-in TFT display. This displays similar information like remaining battery percentage, total power output, current, voltage, and which ports are in use. Speaking of ports, the CUKTECH 20 does support an additional port. In total, this amounts to two USB-C ports and a single USB-A port.
