Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S10 series could see a price hike

0

Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Tab S-series will be refreshed by the end of the year. This will come in the form of the Galaxy Tab S10 series. Unfortunately, if you were planning on upgrading, the latest rumors are claiming that the Galaxy Tab S10 series could see an increase in price.

According to the rumors, the entire tablet range could be looking at an increase in price of around €100. It is unclear how much this will translate to in USD, but we wouldn’t be surprised if it could result in a $100 increase as well. What’s kind of shocking is how this price hike comes on the heels of the rumors that the tablets might all be powered using the Exynos 9300+ chipset.

Qualcomm has been steadily increasing the prices of their chipsets over the years. If the Galaxy Tab S10 series were to use all Qualcomm chips, then the price increase would make sense. We’re not sure how Samsung will justify the increase in price other than blaming it on inflation.

This doesn’t mean that the new tablets won’t be worth upgrading to. If you’re coming from a much older tablet, the new Galaxy Tab S10 series could be a worthwhile upgrade. Samsung hasn’t confirmed a launch date yet, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
