At a price starting at $6,500 for the higher-end model, Samsung’s new Premiere 9 and Premiere 7 smart projectors are undoubtedly expensive. Sure, you could argue that you could probably get a more feature-packed smart TV for less than that, but Samsung does promise a high-end experience with its new projectors.
Built with modern minimalist designs (there’s even high-end fabric on there), the Premiere 9 and 7 come with support for 4K display projection with AI upscaling, allowing users to render even lower-resolution media at a much higher resolution. They’re also bright at 3,450 ISO lumens for The Premiere 9 and 2,500 ISO lumens for The Premiere 7.

For audio, there are Dolby Atmos-equipped speakers onboard, and the Premiere 9 features 40W 2.2.2 channel up-firing speakers, while The Premiere 7 includes 30W 2.2ch speakers.
Of course this wouldn’t be a Samsung smart home product without Tizen OS, the company’s proprietary software platform for its non-Android lineup. This allows access to streaming services like Netflix, Hulu and YouTube, and there’s also Samsung Game Hub for built-in game streaming. The Samsung Premiere 9 is available right now for $6,500, while the Premiere 7 launches later in October.
