In 2024, Nothing announced a couple of new phones. This included the Nothing Phone (2a) and the CMF Phone 1 which is a new handset under Nothing’s CMF branding. But it appears that Nothing might actually have more devices up its sleeve. This is according to an IMEI database sighting by the folks over at Gizmo China.
According to the report, two new Nothing phones have been sighted on the database. Both devices bear the model numbers A059 and A059P. It is safe to assume based on previous handset models that the “A059P” is the “Plus” version of whatever phone it is. It is unclear what devices these are at the moment.
For context, the Nothing Phone (2) bore the model number A065. The Nothing Phone (2a) has the model number A142. Based on this, it doesn’t seem like this device could be a flagship model or one of the company’s “A” series handsets. There is a chance that it could be a phone launched under the CMF branding, but we’ll have to wait and see.
Nothing hasn’t officially announced anything yet. But the company did not announce a new flagship model this year, so maybe this model could be the Nothing Phone (3). Hopefully we’ll have more details before the year is out, otherwise we might have to wait until 2025 for more information.
