Google rolls out Gmail Q&A feature for Android

0

Google has been pretty aggressive with its Gemini AI rollout. They have integrated it into a lot of their services including Gmail. For instance, Google introduced the Gmail Q&A feature to Gmail for the web, but if you’re on Android and want a similar experience, then you’re in luck.

Google has announced that they have started to roll out the Gmail Q&A feature to the Android app. In case the name wasn’t already a dead giveaway, basically this is a feature that lets you ask Gemini (and Gmail) questions related to your emails. For example, some questions include showing you unread emails from today.

You can also ask it to show unread emails from this week, check up on status of your orders, and more. Gmail already has some pretty powerful filtering tools that if you set up correctly, can make your experience a lot better. However, we imagine that not everyone knows about it and having AI perform some of those tasks will be easier.

At the moment, the feature is only available on the Gmail version of Android. If you’re an iOS user, don’t worry, Google is expected to eventually bring the feature to the iOS version of the app at a later date.
