In a day and age where the gaming industry is populated by run-of-the-mill battle royale shooters, MOBA titles and live-service games, legacy franchises might have some trouble standing out to an all-new audience who are more used to “newer” genres. With that said, veteran game company Konami doesn’t seem to believe that this is the case, as revealed in a recent surprise announcement.

In fact, the company recently launched a new collection of games from its Castlevania franchise, one of the more classic titles that have built a strong following through the years. Dubbed the “Castlevania Dominus” Collection, the new entry bundles three titles including “Dawn of Sorrow,” “Portrait of Ruin,” and “order of Ecclesia,” all of which were released on the Nintendo DS many years ago.

The collection also includes “Haunted Castle,” an arcade-style game from earlier on in the franchise. As for the dual-screen mechanics, developer M2 combines methods including native Switch touch-screen input, analogue controls and quick-time events depending on the title that you’re playing.

With that being said, the collection is now available for several platforms including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and Steam.
