The CRKD ATOM is the Smallest Game Controller that We’ve Seen in a While

CRKD is no stranger to the gaming accessory scene – the company’s widely popular Nitro Deck for the Nintendo Switch has opened a realm of possibilities with regards to how gaming accessories can further be developed, and its newest ATOM keychain controller is a pretty interesting take on an otherwise tried-and-tested product.

The ATOM is smaller than a whole lot of other controllers out there, and its diminutive size allows it to be clipped onto backpacks, lanyards, keychains and more. Available in Sky Blue, CRKD Grey, Leaf Green, PAL Grey, Hot Pink, Yuzu Yellow, Glacier Blue or Atomic Purple, the controller comes with staples such as wireless Bluetooth connectivity, as well as a battery that can last for up to ten hours on a single charge.

For software, the controller works with the CRKD “True Collection System,” a mobile app that allows users to add the controller to their gear collection.

It’s also compatible with the Nintendo Switch, PC, Mac, as well as mobile, tablets and Smart TV gaming devices. In terms of availability, the ATOM is available for purchase today for just $19.99, and is expected to begin shipping from late August 2024.
