Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) games still count as one of the more popular categories when it comes to mobile gaming, with different developers and studios launching their own take on the genre. Take for example veteran studio Bandai Namco, which recently announced “DRAGON BALL PROJECT : Multi,” a new MOBA game based on the highly-popular Dragon Ball franchise.
The game is currently being worked on by developer Ganbarion, with Bandai Namco heading distribution duties. The game still hasn’t got a release date however, although interested players can sign up for a regional beta, which runs from August 20 to September 3. This will be open to players in Canada, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, the UK and the US.
As with most other mobile-based MOBA games, DRAGON BALL PROJECT : Multi will include 4V4 battles, and players can use popular characters from the anime like Goku, Vegeta and Piccolo. It should be noted that the game isn’t available yet on the Google Play Store, so users will need to check out the game’s official website if they want to sign up for the beta.
