Beatbot iSkim Ultra makes it easier to upkeep your swimming pool

0

If you own a swimming pool, you know that it isn’t the easiest to clean or maintain. You could always hire someone to do it for you, but that just means paying more money. If you’d rather do it yourself but with a little hi-tech help, then you might want to check out the Beatbot iSkim Ultra pool cleaner.

The Beatbot iSkim Ultra is what the company is calling the “world’s first intelligent robot pool skimmer”. The robot cleaner features a ton of sensors, twenty of them to be exact. This includes ultrasonic sensors and a six-axis IMU that can measure and report on data like orientation, gravitational forces, and so on.

The idea behind the generous use of these sensors is that it helps the robot work its way in a variety of pool shapes and designs. Since not all swimming pools are designed to be rectangular, the sensors will make the iSkim Ultra more compatible. One of the standout features is the fact that it comes with solar panels on its back. This allows the robot to recharge itself as it works.

The iSkim Ultra features a massive 10,000mAh battery which the company claims will last up to 24 hours. It also comes equipped with a debris basket that Beatbot estimates will be able to hold up to 400-800 medium-sized leaves. The company is also introducing some features taken from its past releases.

This includes the ClearWater clarification system that helps remove residues from the water. This is an eco-friendly agent so it should be safe. If you’re interested in picking up the Beatbot iSkim Ultra, it is available for pre-order via the company’s website. It is priced at $999 which is a $500 discount from its regular price.
