If you own a Fitbit device, then you might want to check your smart wearable for the latest software update – Fitbit recently announced new features for several of its devices including the Sense 2, Versa 4, Charge 6, and Inspire 3.
With the new update, the aforementioned wearables can now browse, select, and control YouTube Music on a user’s smartphone. Meanwhile, users can now adjust the text size on the Fitbit Sense 2 and Versa 4, and Fitbit Inspire 3 users now get access to 20 new exercise modes.
Fitbit has also rolled out an Auto Detect feature which lets the Sense 2, Versa 4, and Charge 6 automatically sense when a user has started certain exercises including rowing, elliptical, and spinning. Another update is improved accuracy for heart rate tracking on the Sense 2, Versa 4, and Inspire 3, which according to Fitbit uses Google’s Machine Learning software.
For GPS performance, Fitbit adds that the firmware updates also bring “more accurate stats and mapping for outdoor” for the Sense 2, Versa 4, and Charge 6. With all that being said, users should see the new features roll out to their devices via an OTA update.
