Google teases the Pixel 9 Pro Fold

0

Google recently released a teaser image and video of its upcoming Pixel 9 Pro smartphone. But that’s not all the company has revealed. On its website, Google has also shared a teaser image and video for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which will be the company’s next-gen foldable smartphone.

The last time Google released a foldable phone was back in 2023 with the Pixel Fold. We half expected Google to call its next foldable the Pixel Fold 2, but it looks like the company has decided to lump it in with the Pixel 9 lineup. As usual, the details are scarce on the phone, but at least we have an idea of what it will look like.

Judging from the images, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will undergo a redesign from its predecessor. Gone are the rounded edges which have since been flattened. The camera module also appears to have been redesigned. It no longer stretches across the back of the phone. We have to say that judging from the renders, it looks pretty sleek and we’re digging the vibes.

Google will be hosting an event in August where they’ll announce its new Pixel 9 phones, so we should have all the details then. In the meantime, what do you think of the new design? Are you inclined to pick up the Pixel 9 Pro Fold after seeing the images?
