Samsung could have one more foldable phone left for 2024

0

Samsung recently announced their latest foldables – the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6. We thought that could be the last foldables we see from the company for 2024, but that might not be the case. According to the latest reports, Samsung could have one last foldable phone to announce before the year is out.

The report claims that Samsung could announce a new foldable phone in October 2024. It is unclear what handset it will be. It has been speculated that it could be the rumored Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra, or alternatively it could be the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim, a thinner version of the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

If it is the former, it makes sense that the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s launch was a bit lackluster. While powerful, it didn’t really come with a lot of new features that stood out. This is versus foldables from the competition, which are honestly a lot more exciting. That being said, don’t get too excited just yet.

The report suggests that the launch of this new phone could be limited to South Korea and China. However, there is a chance it could make its way to the US and other markets depending on how well-received it is. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but hopefully Samsung will have more details to share in the coming months.
