Whoops, Samsung accidentally confirms the design of their new foldables

0

Samsung is expected to announce their new foldables soon. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 are rumored to be announced at a Galaxy Unpacked event this July. We’ve seen leaked renders and photos, and it seems that those leaks were right on the money as confirmed by Samsung themselves.

According to a post on Reddit by u/UnironicallyMe37, they have come across marketing materials on the Samsung Kazakhstan website which has outed the handsets along with their designs. Like we said, these images suggest that the rumors and leaks were right about Samsung going for a more boxy design with its new foldable phones. It also confirms that Samsung will be bringing Galaxy AI to their new phones, although that’s hardly a surprise.

We did hear rumors that the Galaxy Z Flip 6 could get an upgrade to the external display’s size, but it’s hard to tell from these renders. Samsung is also apparently making its foldables slightly more durable than before, so that’s a good thing for those concerned about the longevity of their handsets.

As for specs, word on the street has it that Samsung will be exclusively using the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. This is unlike the Galaxy S24 series that used a mix of Exynos and Qualcomm chipsets.
