Another day, another Google leak – the Mountain View tech giant’s smartphones have become partly famous due to their tendency to be leaked via unofficial channels long before their intended launch date, and the case remains the same with the Pixel 9. A Russian website by the name of Rozetked has shared several photos of what looks like a Pixel 9 Pro device, giving us a new look at the upcoming Google flagship.
The photos show a design that corroborates earlier product renders of the Pixel 9 Pro, which showcase a drastic change as far as looks go. Google’s 2024 flagship phone is expected to feature flat sides and an overall form factor that’s similar to the iPhone. Additionally, it looks like the Pixel 9 Pro will feature a fairly compact size, at least when compared to an iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Due to the triple-lens setup on the model, it looks like Google will offer the Pixel 9 in three different sizes, with a standard dual-camera model, a small Pixel 9 Pro model (as seen in the photos), and a much larger Pro XL model which should be closer in size to the Pixel 8 Pro.
Recently, it was also reported that the Pixel 9 series will feature a new modem, in addition to satellite connectivity. The Pixel 9 is expected to come with the Samsung Modem 5400 via the Tensor G4 chip, which is expected to be a significant upgrade over previous Samsung modems that Google has used in the past.
