A few weeks after unveiling the beta version of the AI-infused Express mobile app for Android and iOS, Adobe recently announced that its new mobile editing app is now available for all users. As such the app is free, although more features are available for Creative Cloud subscribers.
Govind Balakrishnan, Senior Vice President at Adobe Express and Digital Media Services at Adobe states:
“Adobe Express brings the magic of Firefly generative AI directly into web and mobile content creation experiences… We’re excited to see a record number of customers turning to Adobe Express to promote their ideas, passions and businesses through digital content and on TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook and other social platforms.”
With that being said, the app features Adobe’s own “Firefly” AI model, which handles generative tasks and integrates into mobile workflows for design projects and more. Adobe confirms that Creative Cloud subscribers can also access and edit their designs from Photoshop and Illustrator directly within the Adobe Express mobile app, adding a new level of convenience with regards to on-the-go workflows.
The app does pack a lot of features, including text to image capabilities, a generative fill function which works with text prompts, text effects with generative AI, video templates, animations and real-time captions, quick actions for one-click image editing, content scheduling, and more. It’s pretty ideal for content creators, freelancers, or folks looking for an easy approach to desktop publishing and advertising.
Interested users can check out the app via the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
