Samsung Galaxy S24 FE could be the most powerful FE phone yet

0

In the past few years, Samsung has launched “FE” versions of its flagship phones. These are designed to be slightly more affordable alternatives to their current flagships. Samsung keeps costs low by generally utilizing slightly older or lower-end tech. But it seems that this year, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE could defy tradition.

A post on X by @OreXda has revealed potential specs of the upcoming phone. Assuming it’s correct, it’s actually kind of surprising. This is because the leaked specs suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE could pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset or Exynos 2400. These are essentially the same specs as the flagship Galaxy S24 series.

For context, the Galaxy S23 FE launched in 2023 came with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, whereas the main Galaxy S23 series used the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. This is huge because it means that in terms of performance, the FE might be identical to the more expensive flagships.

Other leaked specs include a 6.1-inch display, 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a 4,500mAh battery. The battery is another surprise as it is bigger than the base Galaxy S24’s 4,000mAh battery. Needless to say you should take this with a grain of salt for now, but if you’re looking for a slightly more affordable flagship Android phone, then the Galaxy S24 FE could be it.
