Smartphone makers usually put a lot of thought into the design of their phones, but it looks like Nubia has taken the cake with its latest flagship phone, the Nubia Z60 Ultra.
Nubia recently announced their flagship gaming phone, the Red Magic 9 Pro, but in case you’re not a gamer and want something less gamer-y, the Z60 Ultra could be worth checking out. As with the majority of flagship phones moving into 2024, the Z60 Ultra will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset under the hood.
It will come in three RAM configurations starting at 8GB, then 12GB, and then 16GB, and will offer up to 512GB of storage. It also boasts a massive 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,500 nits of peak brightness, and an under-display selfie camera of the 12MP variety.
The back of the phone features a rather interesting camera setup. Instead of a cluster of lenses, Nubia has opted for separate modules that consists of a 50MP 18mm “Starry Sky” main camera, a 50MP 35mm prime lens, and a 64MP 85mm portrait lens. The phone will also be packing a massive 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W charging.
We did mention earlier that the Z60 Ultra is a beautiful phone, and that’s because the company is offering a Starry Sky Collection Edition which features a Van Gogh-inspired design on its back, so if you want something that truly stands out, this could be an option. The Nubia Z60 Ultra will be priced starting at $599 for the base model, and $779 for the 16GB of RAM and 512GB storage configuration.
