Not too long after official product photos of the upcoming OnePlus 12 were revealed online, it looks like OnePlus has decided to release the official teaser trailer for its soon-to-be-released flagship device, which shows off more of the phone’s design elements. The trailer was uploaded to the official OnePlus YouTube channel earlier today, and showcases the phone’s design.
Scheduled to launch on the December 5, the OnePlus 12 will initially be exclusive for Chinese markets, although we can expect a global launch in the following months. In terms of design, the 12 borrows heavily from the OnePlus 11, especially with the large circular camera module on the rear panel. OnePlus says that the phone’s design is “inspired by nature,” a tagline that might be familiar to some.
Not much is known about the device’s other hardware specifications, but it’s very much expected that the OnePlus 12 will come packing the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the much-awaited successor to the highly-successful and well-received 8 Gen 2 chipset.
With that being said, other OnePlus staples such as the Hasselblad logo on the camera module, as well as the fan-favourite alert slider switch are set to make their appearance on the OnePlus 12. There’s no word on pricing yet, although we’ll be sure to know more once the device officially makes its debut later this December.
