We’re only a couple of days away until Google’s big launch event for its Pixel 8 series, and for the past number of weeks we’ve witnessed a ton of different leaks showing off several details about the new Pixel phones. With that in mind, a new leak by way of a benchmark score reveals more details about the upcoming Pixel 8 Pro.
A new entry spotted on Geekbench lists scores for the Pixel 8 Pro, which is expected to launch with Google’s new Tensor G3 chipset. The Geekbench listing shows 1760 points for the Pixel 8 Pro’s single-core score, and 4442 for the for the multi-core score. While these new results aren’t anywhere near what the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 can achieve, they out-perform the Pixel 7 Pro, which scored 1,444 and 3,793, respectively.

As far as unofficial unveilings go, the Pixel 8 series phones have probably got to be the most-leaked devices so far on Google’s roster. While previous Pixel products like the Pixel 6a and Pixel Watch were revealed through a handful of photos, several hands-on photos, promotional material, and even an unboxing video on the Pixel 8 were leaked through Twitter and YouTube.
Going back to the benchmark scores, it’s a good sign of things to come for Google’s Tensor G3 chipset, which is speculated to bring performance improvements over last year’s Tensor G2 SoC.
