Come early 2024, Samsung will be taking the wraps off its Galaxy S24 smartphones. If the rumors are to be believed, one of the biggest design changes is that Samsung will be adopting a flat display and also flat edges for the phone, versus the more curved display and rounded edges of the current Galaxy S23 series.
So how will that look like? The folks at SmartPrix have published renders of the upcoming Galaxy S24 model, giving us a better idea of what to expect. As you can see from these renders, the use of the flat screen and flat edges is a more drastic change that we had previously thought.
We hate to say it, but it is definitely giving us iPhone vibes, not that it’s a bad thing since Apple does design pretty nice-looking phones. Another thing to note in these renders is that they show the inclusion of an UWB antenna break on the side of the phone, indicating the potential of new features that could leverage the technology.
Other than that, the back of the phone shows a triple camera setup with a flash unit, while the front of the phone doesn’t look too different. We do see a cutout for the front-facing camera but it is unclear if Samsung will be going for an in-display camera or if they will continue using the hole-punch display found its the current Galaxy S23 models.
