Google’s Pixel 8 launch is around the corner. Leaked marketing materials were recently spotted and it looks like the wait is almost over. This is according to a post on X by the official Google account which has revealed the launch date for the phone.
According to the post, Google will be announcing their new Pixel 8 phones on the 4th of October. While Google did not explicitly state that the Pixel 8 will be launched at the event, the post wasn’t exactly very subtle either. Plus based on past announcements, it’s almost guaranteed that the Pixel 8 will debut at the event.
Big fall launches are stressful, but Pixel helps its friend stay cool as a cucumber. #BestPhonesForever

The Pixel 8 series will most likely launch with the Tensor G3 chipset, seeing as how the Tensor G2 launched with the Pixel 7 series, so it makes sense that the Pixel 8 will be using a new model. We’re not sure what kind of changes or improvements the G3 will have over the G2, so we’ll have to wait and see.
As for other potential product announcements, seeing as how the Pixel Watch made its debut last year with the Pixel 7, the rumors are claiming that we could see a Pixel Watch 2 at the event as well. Also, seeing as how it has been a while since Google last announced a new set of Pixel Buds, maybe we’ll be seeing the third-gen model at the event too. Either way, check back with us in October for all the official details.
