As Samsung continues to roll out monthly updates for many of its handsets across different regions, we recently got word that the company has finally released the latest July 2023 security patch for Galaxy S23 variants in Europe, which comes with software version number S91xBXXS3AWF7.
According to a report from the folks over at Sammobile, the update weighs in at around 430MB, and comes with fixes for over 90 security flaws. There’s no word on any new features or improvements for camera or performance however, so it looks like this is strictly a patch meant for security issues.
In addition to this new software patch, it’s also expected that the Galaxy S23 series might receive the upcoming One UI 6 upgrade this year, which is based on Android 14. There have also been talks of the One UI 6 Beta launching soon, so Galaxy S23 owners will want to keep an eye out for news on this.
If you’re in Europe and want to check if your device can download the newest update, simply head into Settings > Software Update > Download and Install to check if your phone is eligible for the latest system update.
