Xiaomi finally took off the wraps on its latest Android tablets, the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro. The devices were announced alongside the new Xiaomi 13 Ultra, and come with some rather impressive hardware specifications.
There are some similarities between the two devices beyond their naming scheme – for one, both tablets features 11-inch IPS displays with 2.8K resolutions, as well as metal unibodies, stereo speaker setups, as well as Android 13 alongside Xiaomi’s MIUI 14 skin.
Where the tablets differ is performance – for the Pad 6, Xiaomi has decided to go with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 chipset, up to 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and an 8840 mAh battery with 33W wired charging speeds. Imaging is handled by a 13MP rear and 8MP front camera array.
Meanwhile, the Pad 6 Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, up to 12GB of RAM, 512GB of internal storage, and an 8600 mAh battery with 67W charging support. It bumps the megapixel count to a 50MP main camera and 20MP front camera.
With that said however, the tablets are exclusive for Chinese regions at the moment, so buyers outside of China will have to import them, or at least wait for a global launch date.
