In a post made on Twitter, Google highlighted some of the included updates with this month’s software patch. Compatible Pixel phones will receive updates to overall system stability, bluetooth connectivity, as well as camera performance.
If you own any of the Pixel phones starting from the 4a up to the Pixel 7 Pro, you can check for the update by opening your Settings app, heading into System, tap System Update and Check for Update. Your phone should then automatically scan for any available software patches.
In other related Pixel news, several image renders showing the different color variations of the Pixel 7a appeared online. The Pixel 7a is expected to make an appearance during this year’s Google IO Conference which is scheduled to take place this coming May.
An earlier leak predicts that the phone might feature a 6.1-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, the Google Tensor G2 chip, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1, a 64MP Sony IMX787 sensor and 12MP UW camera, 5W wireless charging, as well as Android 13.
