A new HTC phone just made its debut

0

HTC used to be one of the biggest smartphone brands back in the day, especially during the early days of the smartphone where the company pushed forwards new and innovative ideas that might have been a bit too early for its time. These days, we don’t really see that many phones from the company, but it looks like this year could be different.

This is because in what appears to be a surprise reveal, the HTC Wildfire E3 Lite has been announced. This is not a high-end device so don’t get your hopes up, but rather it is an entry-level one which should be great for those who might be shopping on a budget and want a decent phone that won’t break the bank.

In terms of specs, the HTC Wildfire E3 Lite will be powered by a Unisoc SC9863 chipset and will be offered in 3/4GB RAM and 32/64GB storage configurations, with the latter supporting microSD expansion if you need. It will also feature the use of a 6.5-inch LCD screen with a HD+ resolution that also houses a 5MP front-facing shooter.

On the back, there is a dual camera module with a 13MP main that is accompanied by a 2MP macro. There will also be a 5,000mAh battery and the phone will come with Android 12 preinstalled. It’s not the most impressive of phones, but like we said, given its specs it looks like it will be a budget phone. It is expected to debut in the African markets and there is no word on whether we will see it arrive stateside.
