Google’s Pixel Fold could be launching in June

0

We have been hearing rumors that Google is working on its own foldable Pixel handset, and if you’re wondering when you will be able to get your hands on one, a report from WinFutre.de has suggested that the phone’s launch is expected to take place this coming June.

The launch date is a bit odd when you consider that Google I/O 2023 is taking place in May, but there is a chance that the handset could be revealed at the event before being made available at a later date. Google has done this in the past with other products where they showed it off at I/O before launching it at a later date, so it isn’t entirely out of the realm of possibility.

The report also goes on to claim that the handset will come with 256GB of internal storage and apparently that will be the only configuration it will be available in. It is also rumored to be priced at 1,700 euros, which is pretty pricey but we don’t know how much it will cost when it comes stateside.

Also, WinFuture.de says that the Pixel Fold will only be available in two color options – dark gray/black and white/beige, which is admittedly kind of boring, but we suppose the specs and features should help to compensate for things. Either way, take it with a grain of salt for now and hopefully we’ll have more details come this May.
