Master & Dynamic gives its MH40 wireless headphones a much-deserved upgrade

0

Master & Dynamic is a company that is known to many audiophiles. The company makes some pretty serious and awesome-sounding audio products, like the MW-series of true wireless earbuds which are some of the best-looking and best-sounding earbuds around at the moment.

For those who prefer headphones, you might be interested to learn that Master & Dynamic has announced that they will be giving its MH40 wireless, over-ear headphones an upgrade. Reviews of the original headphones were a bit lackluster, which was a shame considering the company’s reputation and experience in the field, but hopefully the changes they are making will help them redeem themselves.

For starters, one of the changes that they will be making will see them include new custom 40mm titanium drivers that they claim will offer more expansive sound. There will also be the use of digital USB-C that will allow for a hi-fi audio experience, which when coupled with the app will allow users to finetune the sound with a bunch of preset EQs.

Master & Dynamic have also upgraded the Bluetooth to Bluetooth 5.2 which has a longer range and is compatible with AAC, SBC, and aptX Adaptive codecs up to 24-bit/96kHz. It will also come with better battery life of up to 30 hours, and support for fast charging where users can squeeze out an extra 6 hours with just 15 minutes of charging.

The new and upgrade MH40 wireless headphones will be available for purchase today via Master & Dynamic’s website where it will be priced at $399 and will be available in Silver/Brown, Gunmetal/Black, Black/Black, Silver/Navy, and Silver/Grey. Alternatively, if you want to save a bit of money, the wired version of the original model is available on discount right now for $226.
