Smartphone users longing for a new Motorola-branded handset might be in luck – new renders of an upcoming Moto flagship device have been leaked online, which give us a better view of what we can expect from the phone in terms of design.
The leaks come from online tech informant Evan Blass, who shared several images of the phone through his Twitter account. Judging from the images, the phone will feature a curved dislay with a holepunch cut-out, a triple-camera setup, and an overall design reminiscent of other Motorola phones.
Previously, the phone itself was spotted in a Geekbench listing online. The Edge 40 Pro scored 1480 in Geekbench’s single-core performance test, and 4889 for its multi-core score. It’s speculated that the device will come equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and will be based on the Motorola X40 which was launched a few months back. The Edge 40 pro might ship with Android 13, up to 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of internal storage, a triple-camera set-up, and a 4600 mAh battery.
At the moment, there’s no official statement from the company regarding the Motorola Edge 40 Pro, but it shouldn’t be too surprising should Motorola acknowledge the device through a formal launch or teaser at the very least. With that being said, Motorola fans will have to wait a bit more if they want to get their hands on the phone.
