A while back, Nokia revealed that it will soon use a new and updated logo for its branding, products services, which will essentially serve as the “typographical” face of the company moving forward. As such, the Finnish telecommunications giant has revealed its newest product to sport the logo, the Beacon 10.
The Beacon 10 is Nokia’s first gateway device that is designed for compatibility for Wi-Fi 6E, allowing it to support high-capacity mesh networking. Nokia says that the Beacon 10 is a tri-band device which will be able to provide 10Gbps Wi-Fi speeds. Other details include a 10G WAN interface, which can pair with 10 Gb/second fiber modems for multi-gigabit services to homes.
During MWC 2023, the company announced via Twitter that it’s introducing a new logo that features a more minimal look all over. The new design is a big departure from the “classic” Nokia logo, which has graced the company’s products and branding since time immemorial. This change comes as part of an updated company and technology strategy which forms part of its planned long-term transformation, although it seems that the company will maintain the older logo for its handsets, at least for the time being.
