Benchmarks reveal some specs of the OnePlus 11 5G ahead of announcement

0

OnePlus has recently confirmed that they will be hosting an event on the 7th of February, 2023 where the OnePlus 11 5G will be officially announced. Obviously we’ll have to wait until the official announcement before we know more details about the upcoming phone, but the folks at MySmartPrice have found benchmarks that give us some clues.

For starters, the benchmarks have more or less confirmed that the handset will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. We suppose this is a given considering that the OnePlus 11 5G is meant to be a 2023 flagship handset, and we expect that the majority of these devices will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

The benchmarks have also revealed that the phone could come with as much as 16GB of RAM. We’re not sure if 16GB will be the base RAM that comes with the phone, or if we’re looking at a model that comes with more RAM and that there could be models that are cheaper with less RAM.

The phone also seems to have scored 1493 in terms of single-core marks, and 5112 for multi-core performance, but we should note that benchmarks don’t tell the whole story and there are other factors that can affect a phone’s performance and the user’s overall experience.

That being said, for the most part this is what we’ve come to expect from a flagship that will launch in 2023, so now all we really need is for OnePlus to officially confirm it, so check back with us next year for the details.
